Aqua East, Inc., is a water filtration sales company offering industrial, commercial and residential water filtration equipment and has been in business successfully for more than twenty years.
In Aqua East’s constant endeavor to be on the cutting edge and in the forefront of the Green Building and Water Filtration Industry, we are pleased to announce that as of July, 2008 Aqua East Inc. has become a member of the U.S. Green Building Council New York City Chapter.
The company saw that there was a need for commercial and industrial water filtration equipment for both the residential and commercial high rise buildings market in New York City. Aqua East, Inc., then made the decision to do some extensive research to find out who, what and where the major manufacturers of such equipment were and what type of equipment they had available to best service this marketplace.
After researching many of these manufacturers, Aqua East, Inc., decided, hands down on Design Engineers Inc. A full service commercial/industrial water filter and water softener company that manufactures the Unity water filtration system.
Aqua East, Inc., would like to take this opportunity to introduce Design Engineers, Inc., a company that has had constant growth for more than thirty years in the water filtration business.
Design Engineers., Inc. is the only manufacturing company of commercial and industrial multi layered water filtration systems in this area. The Unity water filtration system was designed by the owner of Design Engineers, Inc.
There are other well known filtration companies out there but they are operated by franchisees. These franchises do not manufacture their filtration systems. Design Engineers, Inc., owner is a water filtration specialist, and has vast knowledge of filtration and water chemistry, and their interactions in our environment that are unchallenged by the competition.
Thirty years ago, the only sediment filtration systems were inefficient slow sand filters.
People became aware that New York City water, while safe, often was contaminated with dirt and rust. This problem was particularly noticeable during the spring and fall of each year.
At that time, the owner of Design Engineers, Inc., was with the Bruner Filter Corporation. He took on the project to develop a water filtration system which would work better than the old methods.
After much research and testing, he finally arrived at the design, which has become their standard for multi layer depth filtration. The filtration media consists of two layers of different sized garnet, and one layer each of gravel, sand and carbon. Each layer of the media is to be of a specific size and density, weighted to settle, after backwashing, in the same order that it was originally placed into the filter tank. This gives consistent true filtration in depth.
Design Engineers, Inc. manufactures, installs, places into operation, guarantees and services all Unity equipment with a factory trained personnel.
We also offer an annual maintenance warranty program insuring continuous repair service on parts and labor once the original manufacture’s warranty expires.
This gives Aqua East, Inc., along with Design Engineers, Inc., the capability to deal with any potable water problem. Either at a single faucet or an entire high rise building. In other words, together, can do anything from consulting to full turnkey operation and beyond.
